Betty and Phil love visiting other countries. Over the years, together and independently, they have been to Africa, Asia, Australia, Central America, Europe, North America, and South America. 

 

Much of their travel has involved interacting with local people in the countries that they have visited. They have learned much from these people and their cultures. It has reminded Betty and Phil that all people throughout the world are interconnected and dependent on one another. This gives them hope that the many problems currently facing the world are solvable.
